Summer in review: Part 2

We continue our reflection on this summer’s news with a brief note on two items that look into how technology impacts student and teachers’ thinking.

  1. Education Innovation compiled some thoughts on lateral thinking vs. vertical thinking: Successful Student Thinking In The Digital Age will be “lateral” and “miscellaneous.”
  2. Cristóbal Cobo shared a Mark Gibson piece on digital literacy, which notes that “Getting laptops into the classroom forces the teachers to think about their own skills.”

Another critical security flaw with anti-plagiarism software
