I recently received a 7% as well. Before I sent the paper through SafeAssign I sent a cover letter stating I was sending it through the system under duress and I did not and do not agree with the terms and conditions. I did not give up my rights just beacuse I could not 'uncheck' the box. I would suggest that anyone sending their work through SafeAssign(what a joke) do the same.
