I attended the first Horizon Forum in April 2006, and someone brought up the Thomas Friedman quote about the problem of having “21st century students, and 20th century educators.” Does anyone know what 21st century educators would look like, beyond broad conceptutalizations such as the need to be more paternship-oriented and better with technology? Is anyone writing/talking about this in a concerte way (i.e., speculating on profesional development teacher models or specific skills?) Is there new terminology for “teachers”?
